We provide cutting edge services for all adult and pediatric urologic problems, including:

• Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
  We employ KTP and Holmium lasers, electrovaporization and microwaves for treatment of symptomatic prostatic enlargement. We are currently participating in a multi-institutional study comparing a new high powered 80 watt KTP laser to the standard transurethral resection of the prostate.   Affiliates in Urology have been pioneers in establishing the Green Light Laser technology and the standard of care. for treatment of BPH.   We employ Holmium lasers and ESWL (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy) for kidney stone treatment.
• Pelvic floor rehabilitation to improve bladder control, reduce pain and optimize urination.
• Prostate Cancer
  Our options for treatment include surgery, radiation therapy (including seed implants or brachytherapy) and hormone ablation. We work with a multidisciplinary Genitourinary Tumor Board at the Oakwood Cancer Center for challenging oncology cases and a multidisciplinary approach.
• Robotic surgery
• Urinary Tract Infection
• Uroplasty: nerve modulation of the Tibial nerve done weekly to improve urinary symptoms from an overactive bladder.
• Incontinence
  
  • State-of-the-art treatments for female and male incontinence:
    • We are among the handful of physicians in this area trained in the use of Interstim implants (nerve neuromodulation) for urinary disorders and chronic pelvic pain.
    • We offer Tension Free Vaginal Tape (a type of bladder sling) for selected patients with urinary incontinence. This outpatient procedure has a short recovery time (several days) and excellent results in early clinical trials.
  • Traditional procedures for female and male incontinence:
    • Traditional Marshall-Marchetti bladder suspensions
    • Pubovaginal slings

• Vasectomy
• Vasectomy Reversal

• State-of-the-art Ultrasound machine for renal, pelvic, testicular and prostate ultrasounds and biopsies
• Flexible cystoscopy equipment to allow diagnosis with minimal patient discomfort. If you are coming to our office for a cystoscopy, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with samples of our intra-op cystoscope pictures.
• Full urodynamic computers and diagnostic equipment
• Procedure room for vasectomies and other minor procedures

These procedures are done in our office with a local anesthetic. A Registered Nurse is always on hand to assist the physicians and the patients. Our highly trained clinical staff also includes a radiology technician and medical assistants.
