Mahmood A. Hai, M.D.
Dr. Mahmood Hai earned his medical degree with distinction in Anatomy and Surgery from the Prince of Wales Medical College. He also completed a Clinical Fellowship in General Surgery from Patna University and Affiliated Hospitals. He then completed his surgery residency at Boston University and his urology residency at Wayne State University.
Dr. Hai is a member of the North Central Section of the American Urological Association, the Wayne County Medical Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the American Association of Clinical Urologists. His is also a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Hai has published numerous articles detailing research and treatment methods for common urological conditions. He is one of the pioneering surgeons who studied and developed the Greenlight Laser for BPH. He co-authored the seminal paper introducing its use to the medical community. Dr. Hai has 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren and resides in Canton. He is originally from Bihar, India.
Muzammil M. Ahmed, M.D.
Dr. Muzammil Ahmed earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. He also completed his general surgery internship and a urological surgery residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals.
Dr. Ahmed has published articles and book chapters detailing research and treatment methods for common urological conditions and cancers. Dr. Ahmed is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Oakwood Cancer Center and the Michigan Peer Review Organization. Dr. Ahmed was recognized by HCAHPS and the Press Ganey independent research firms as being in the top 90th percent for patient satisfaction and quality. He was awarded the Volunteer Faculty of the Year Award several times by Oakwood Hospital's medical education department.
Dr. Ahmed is the former Chief of Surgery at the Oakwood Annapolis Hospital and Chair of the Operating Room Committee.
Dr Ahmed was also chosen by a survey of over 6000 physicians as one of Southeast Michigan's "Top Docs" as reported Detroit Hour Magazine several times, most recently in 2011.
Dr. Ahmed has lived in southeastern Michigan for over 30 years. He is married and has 4 children.
Vijay Kotha, M.D.
Dr Vijay Kotha earned his undergraduate degree at Cornell University in New York and a Masters in Arts, Science of Medicine at Boston University. He went to medical school at the Syracuse College of Medicine and graduated Cum Laude in 1999. He completed his internship at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery and his urology training at the same institution, graduating in 2004.
Dr Kotha is a distinguished member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He has also received several awards including the Waukesha-Elmbrook IPA Peer Recognition Award in 2006. He was an AUA/Praecis Gerald P. Murphy Scholar in 2003. He is Board Certified in Urology and a member of the American Urological Association. He received the 2011 HCAHPS and Press Ganey Award for performing above the 90th percentile for patient satisfaction and quality.
Dr Kotha is a native of upstate New York but currently lives in metropolitan Detroit with his wife and three children.
Amarnath Rambhatla, M.D.
Dr. Rambhatla, a native of Southern California, received his Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from the University of California Riverside. He earned his medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles.
Dr. Rambhatla completed his general surgery internship at the Detroit Medical Center and a urological surgery residency at Wayne State University where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Rambhatla has published numerous research articles and book chapters in infertility, erectile dysfunction, and minimally invasive laser therapies for benign prostatic hypertrophy. He has served as an invited speaker at local and national meetings.
Dr. Rambhatla is a member of the American Urological Association, Michigan Urologic Society, and Michigan State Medical Society.
Dr. Rambhatla enjoys travelling with his wife and spending time outdoors including running, playing soccer, basketball, and golf.
Kashif Siddiqi, M.D.
Kashif Siddiqi was born in Chicago, IL and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with Honors. He subsequently earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by a Master’s Degree in Cancer Research one year later. Escaping the bitter Midwest to warmer pastures, he completed his urological residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.
While in residency, Dr. Siddiqi earned numerous honors including first place for a research presentation at the Georgia Urological Association in 2006. Additionally, Dr. Siddiqi has presented research at many regional and national urological associations including the Southeastern Association of the American Urological Association as well as the Kimbrough Symposium and the Society of Urological Oncology. In 2007, Dr. Siddiqi was awarded the Men’s Health Traveling Fellowship, a prestigious award for andrologists and urologists. Following matriculation from residency, he completed a Fellowship in Male Infertility at the Cleveland Clinic in 2010.
Dr. Siddiqi practices general urology, including all areas of urologic oncology and benign urology including complex endoscopic management of urinary stone disease, management of BPH and voiding dysfunction as well as incontinence. He also performs advanced laparoscopy and daVinci robotic surgery for benign conditions as well as cancer with specific interest in prostate and kidney cancer.
Dr. Siddiqi has a ellowship and expertise in Male Infertility, with specialized training in microscopic surgery and male reproductive reconstruction as well as prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction. He serves as the Director of Male Fertility at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In his spare time, Dr. Siddiqi enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and is an avid sports fan.
